Janice’s family joined Good Shepherd in 1999. As Janice is a lifelong Lutheran, Christian Education became a strong focus for her both at home with their two daughters and through life in the church. After a few years serving on the Faith Formation committee and assisting and teaching in Sunday School, Janice joined staff as Sunday School Superintendent in 2012. The following year another part time job was added as InReach Coordinator. This role allows her to reach out to members and committees on a regular basis to make sure that members are involved in the congregation in a meaningful way for them personally and that committees have the people they need to allow them to grow their ministries and meet the needs of the congregation. Good Shepherd has been a wonderful church home for Janice’s family and she strives to make all members feel welcomed as well.
