Janice Swinford, Sunday School Superintendent

Janice’s family joined Good Shepherd in 1999.  As Janice is a lifelong Lutheran, Christian Education became a strong focus for her both at home with their two daughters and through life in the church.  After a few years serving on the Faith Formation committee and assisting and teaching in Sunday School, Janice joined staff as Sunday School Superintendent in 2012.  Janice has also played a vital role as the former Inreach Coordinator for Good Shepherd.  In this role she was responsible for reaching out to members and committees making sure that members are involved in the congregation in a meaningful way for them personally.  She would also monitor committees so they have the people they need to allow them to grow their ministries and meet the needs of the congregation.  Good Shepherd has been a wonderful church home for Janice’s family and she always strives to make all members feel welcome.
