1. Participate in a Walk/Run- March 15th either locally at Good Shepherd or downtown in conjunction with the Atlanta Food Bank.
Local walk will be at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Woodstock GA, March 15, and begins at 12:30 PM. Please bring a canned food item for each person walking. This food supports our local food pantries. We will also have QR codes available to make direct donations to the Atlanta Food Bank. We are planning a pizza lunch for those who plan to stick around after worship. A sign up sheet will be made available in Fellowship Hall beginning in March.
For the downtown walk you will need to register on behalf of Good Shepherd. You will be a part of the organization Inspiritus, on the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Woodstock team. That event takes place at the HomeDepot Backyard. Gates open at noon and the run/walk begins at 2 PM. Registration costs are $30/walker and $40/runner and will include a T-shirt. These prices increase if you register in person on the day of the event. You can also register as a virtual team member and have a T-shirt mailed to you for a couple dollars more.
