The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force (D.E.I.)
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force (D.E.I.) is a group within the congregation that meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month to have fruitful discussion regarding ways to become more welcoming and form an inclusive environment. We meet at 6:30 PM in the meeting room, just of the Entryway.
Currently, we are talking about recognizing different cultures each month, what Reconciling in Christ means, and how we can break the age gap barrier in our congregation. If you are curious to hear what our discussions are like, want to give some input, or just want to be a fly on the wall, you are more than welcome to join! February is Black History Month
If you didn’t get a chance to read all the information posted in Fellowship Hall, take a moment to read it in your spare time. As a church we are invited to break down barriers and welcome all into God’s kingdom. This is a way our church can educate and create awareness for all sheep of the Good Shepherd.
